When hearing declines, the brain doesn't get the audio stimulation it needs to stay healthy, so don't be lazy, see a doctor.
Do not start or continue smoking. Smoking also increases the risk of dementia because it causes an inflammatory reaction in the body and the blood vessels that reach the brain.
No ignore signs of depression. Depression or other untreated mental health conditions such as anxiety are often associated with cognitive decline and dementia in older people.
