Qualitative sleep, exercise and eating more fresh fruits and vegetables are key factors in mental health in young people.

Scientists found that exactly sleep quality, not sleep duration, has the greatest impact on mental well-being. However, they do not rule out that too little or too much sleep has a negative effect on well-being.

People who slept 9.7 hours a night had the least symptoms of depression, while those who slept 8 hours had the highest sense of well-being.
