How to make a Christmas stolen

Christmas stollen is exactly what you need. Its aroma of cinnamon, zest and nuts can create a festive atmosphere even on the grayest day.
Ingredients:
- flour – 500 g;
- yeast – 7 g (dry);
- milk – 200 ml;
- butter – 150 g;
- sugar – 100 g;
- raisins – 150 g;
- candied fruit – 100 g;
- almonds – 100 g;
- orange zest – 1 tsp;
- cinnamon – 1 tsp. l.;
- powdered sugar for sprinkling.
The yeast is diluted in warm milk with a spoonful of sugar and left for 10 minutes to activate. At this time, sift the flour, add sugar, cinnamon and orange zest. Gradually pour in the milk with yeast, add melted butter and knead a soft dough.
The prepared dough is left for an hour to rise. Then add raisins, candied fruits and crushed almonds, mix thoroughly and form the stollen. Bake it at 180°C for 40-50 minutes.
The finished stollen must be greased with melted butter and sprinkled with powdered sugar. For the taste to fully develop, it is worth letting it brew for several days. Baking that keeps your home warm and becomes an indispensable part of the Christmas holidays.
