How to make a cucumber-garlic sauce that is tastier than mayonnaise

Sometimes mayonnaise is not on hand, so cucumber and garlic sauce comes to the rescue.

Ingredients:

  • fresh cucumbers – 1-2 pieces;
  • processed cheese – 0.1 kg;
  • sour cream (15-20%) – 4-5 tablespoons;
  • garlic – a few cloves;
  • dill – 2-4 sprigs;
  • salt to taste.

  • The preparation of the sauce begins with grating the cucumbers on a large or medium grater. The juice is squeezed by hand, which can be frozen and used for cosmetic purposes in the future.
  • In no case will you need cucumber juice when preparing the sauce, so it is removed. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and cheese.
  • Finely chop the dill and send it to the other ingredients. Garlic is passed through a press and added to the total mass. But this spicy vegetable can be simply finely chopped with a knife, if too spicy dishes are not to your liking.
  • Next, cucumbers and sour cream-garlic mass are mixed. Salt to taste and, if desired, add ground black pepper.
