How to make a “lazy” Napoleon cake

The pinnacle of culinary skill and a recognized masterpiece of home baking is considered the “Napoleon” cake. It is not known who decided to make it, but it can also be prepared according to a lazy recipe. It is believed that this recipe has a number of advantages over the original and the cake turns out to be less boring.
To prepare you will need:
- 65 puff pastry cookies;
- a liter of milk;
- 4 eggs;
- 150 g of butter;
- 150-200 g of sugar;
- 6 tbsp. flour;
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar.
How to cook
Given that the cake is based on cookies, we immediately start preparing the cream.
Mix the eggs, sugar and flour into a homogeneous mass, add milk and vanilla sugar.
Put the mass on the fire and cook, stirring constantly, until the cream becomes thick, then add butter.
The cake is formed very simply. To do this, dip the cookies in hot cream, and then lay out several rows and layers one after the other on a dish.
Fill the space between the cookies generously with cream, and also grease the top and sides of the cake.
Do not forget to turn a few cookies into crumbs to decorate the cake, and then put the dessert in the refrigerator overnight.
