How to make a trap for garden pests: 3 ways to protect trees
0
In the spring, gardeners have to be quite nervous. In addition to the fact that the future harvest may die from frost, pests do not give rest. Even timely treatments do not guarantee that hordes of hungry insects will be stopped. Therefore, traps cannot be dispensed with.
How to make a hunting belt with your own hands
Dry belt
This option is better to use in the summer, when it becomes active fruit eater.
It is made very simply using non-woven material and even paper.
The material is tightly tied to the trunk, wrapped in 3-4 layers. By crawling under it, insects cannot crawl further.
Don't forget to change the material once every 2 weeks.
Poison belt
The scheme is the same, only the material is pre-treated with bitoxybacillin or 1% lepidocide.
Do not forget to cover it from the rain, otherwise the trap will cease to be effective. It will be enough to change 2-3 times during the whole season.
Glue belt
You need to buy cling film and glue from pests. The film is wrapped around the trunk of the tree, and then glue is applied.
Make several holes in the film, otherwise the bark may stick. It is not possible to apply glue directly to the tree bark.
