How to make an upside-down cake with caramelized oranges

A regular orange pie will never turn out like an upside down pie. It has a special caramelized taste. And this is the secret of its exclusivity. Take this recipe to the culinary piggy bank. You can always surprise someone by baking such a delicacy.

Ingredients

The following products are needed for preparation:

  • egg – 2 pcs.;
  • sugar – 150 g;
  • sour cream – 100 g;
  • butter – 100 g;
  • flour – 200 g;
  • food baking powder – 2 tsp .;
  • sweet oranges – 3 pcs.

How to cook

Start with eggs. Beat them with sugar until fluffy. Add melted butter, sour cream. once again thoroughly beat the mass to a homogeneous consistency.

Now you need to sift the flour with baking powder. Enter into the total egg mass together with the peel of one orange.

Thinly cut the peel from the oranges. Cut them into circles. Now you can start laying out the cake. Line a springform pan with parchment and grease with oil. Sprinkle with sugar. Place the orange circles and pour the dough.

Put to bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 190 degrees. The finished cake must be cooled a little, turned over and the parchment paper removed. It is better to continue cooling the cake on a wire rack so that condensation does not form. Delicious!
