How to make apple cider vinegar at home

Very often we use apple cider vinegar in the preparation of various dishes , sometimes it is simply irreplaceable.
We offer to prepare apple cider vinegar at home. The process, of course, is long, but does not require special efforts. In fact, everything is very simple. It is easy and not difficult to prepare apple vinegar with your own hands.
Apple vinegar is 6%, aromatic and very tasty. This quantity of products yields 1.5 liters of apple cider vinegar. Be sure to try!
Ingredients
- Water – 1500 ml
- Sugar – 100 g
- Apple – 1000 g< /li>
How to prepare:
- We will prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list – apples, water and granulated sugar.
- Wash 1 kg of apples, remove the core and cut into small pieces.
- In any container, except aluminum, combine granulated sugar and apple slices.
- Boil 1.5 liters of clean and filtered water and cool to room temperature.
- Pour boiled water over the apples and granulated sugar. Leave the pan, covered, at room temperature for 2 weeks.
- Stir the apple mass with a wooden spoon every day in the morning and evening.
- It is desirable to cover the container with gauze so that there are fewer midges, and then close it with a lid.
- After 2 weeks, the apple mass will become noticeably cloudy and acquire a specific smell.
- After 14 days, filter the mass through a sieve . We leave the apples in the sieve for a while so that they drain well.
- Then be sure to strain the apple liquid through cheesecloth folded in half.
- Pour the apple liquid into a large saucepan so that there are 8 -10 cm for fermentation, and cover with a lid. Leave the liquid for fermentation for another 2 weeks in a dark place at room temperature.
- After the specified time, strain the liquid through a fine sieve.
- Apple vinegar at home is ready. Pour it into glass containers.
- Store apple cider vinegar at room temperature. The optimal storage option is the kitchen.
We use homemade apple cider vinegar as needed. It is often needed in cooking to prepare a seasoning for cold vegetable snacks or cold fish and seafood dishes.
