Fragrant berry jam can be made without cooking at all. It will taste just as good raw. It's a godsend for your favorite pancakes and pancakes.
Ingredients and preparation
For the jam, you need to prepare berries and jelly-forming sugar. You don't hear about it that often, but it's not the same as regular gelatin. Pay attention to this, because the proportions differ significantly.
You can use any berries for jam: raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, wild strawberries. Of these, it will be the most delicious. You will also need 250 g of special sugar for jams.
There is another important point. Different manufacturers offer their own proportions for using such sugar, so the general norm is 1 to 1, but read the instructions again. In particular, there are separate jelly-forming agents for jam on sale. They are added to regular sugar. Whichever agent you prefer to use, take it.
The berries need to be crushed in a blender. Gradually add the jelly-forming sugar. Continue beating for 25 minutes. The jam will gradually thicken. When this happens, transfer the jam to a clean, dry jar, close the lid and put it in the refrigerator.
