How to make budget bagels without eggs for tea

If you want something sweet, but your home budget is not very high, you can get out of this situation by baking these delicious, cheap treats.

To prepare them, you only need:

  • Flour – 400 g
  • Margarine – 100 g
  • Sour cream – 100 g
  • Soda – 0.5 tsp. l.
  • Jam – 100 g

First, you need to pour flour into a bowl and add any fat at room temperature (margarine, butter, lard). You can make a fat mixture. After that, rub the flour with fat with your hands and add sour cream and soda, quenched with vinegar. Knead an elastic dough and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

The dough will weigh 550-600 g. Divide it into 3 parts. Roll out a circle from each, divide into 12 parts. Put 0.5 tsp. jam and roll up.

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Dip the finished products (36 pcs.) hot in powdered sugar and enjoy with tea! Crispy sweet and sour bagels will be enjoyed by everyone. And those who do not eat sugar can skip the powder, the jam will give it its own taste and aroma!
