How to make condensed milk at home in 30 minutes

They say that the healthiest and tastiest things are made at home, and the same can be said about condensed milk. Many housewives use a recipe that allows you to make your favorite treat in 30 minutes, and you will need the simplest set of products.
What you need
To prepare 1.6 kg of homemade condensed milk, you will need:
- sugar – 900 g;
- milk – 3 l;
- soda – 1/5 tsp.
From the inventory, you will need a large wide saucepan with a thick bottom. Milk is poured into the saucepan in a thin layer (3-5 cm). It is necessary that the liquid evaporates quickly, and the product thickens. A thick bottom is needed so that the milk does not burn.
If you do not have such a saucepan, you can cook condensed milk in a regular one. However, this should be done in small portions.
How to cook
Pour milk into a saucepan, add sugar and soda. Put on the fire and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then turn on the fire and bring the milk to a boil.
When the liquid boils, adjust the heat so that the boiling is intense. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring constantly.
The finished condensed milk should cool slightly before pouring into jars. After cooling, the preparation acquires a thick consistency.
