
How to make crispy pickled cucumbers overnight

When you want lightly salted cucumbers, remember this simple recipe that will allow you to try crispy cucumbers the next morning. The spicy brine gives the vegetables a pleasant taste and aroma. The recipe is so simple that there is no need to roll up jars with a reserve.
To prepare you will need:
- 1 kg of cucumbers;
- 1 l of water;
- 1.5 tbsp. l. salt;
- 1 tbsp. l. sugar;
- 1 tbsp. l. mustard powder;
- 10 peas of allspice;
- 100 g of dill;
- 1 head of garlic;
- 4 pcs. bay leaves;
- 2 tbsp. l. vinegar.
How to cook
The secret to crispy cucumbers is that before rolling them, they need to be soaked in ice water for 2-3 hours, and the salt needs to be coarsely ground.
So, cut off the edges of the cucumbers, chop a bunch of dill, but not finely, but into 4-5 parts.
Peel the garlic and cut into slices.
Take clean jars (preferably two 1-liter jars) and spread the dill and garlic evenly, then the cucumbers, vertically and tightly.
Now put the bay leaf and pepper. Mix salt and sugar in water and bring to a boil.
Add vinegar, mustard and, mixing well, pour the brine into jars.
After screwing on the lids, leave the cucumbers to marinate overnight, covered with a thick cloth.
