How to make delicious apple jam

Autumn is a wonderful time of the year when inspiration for cooking and preparing delicious spin for the winter. It's cool outside, but it's warm and smells like apples at home. Why not make a delicious jam from them.
A simple recipe
We offer you to make jam from apples, which can not only be served with tea, but also used as a filling for pies, pancakes and various pastries. For cooking, you will need the following set of products:
- apples – 0.5 kg;
- a stick of natural cinnamon – 1 pc.;
- water – 3 large spoons;
- sugar – 150 g;
- citric acid – 1 part.
How to make jam
The step-by-step preparation process looks like this:
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, water and citric acid. The mixture should be melted over low heat.
- Peel the apples from the peel and core. Cut into cubes or slices.
- Add the apples to the pan with the melted sugar. We also put a stick of cinnamon here.
- After the liquid boils, the fire should be reduced to a minimum and continue to cook the jam for 60 minutes.
The jam is laid out in dry sterilized jars and roll up with lids. Turn over and cover with a towel or blanket for slow cooling.
