How to make delicious carrot pate

What can you cook directly from carrots? At first glance, it may seem that in cooking it is not an independent ingredient, suitable only for making juice. But in fact, in addition to salads, soups, various stews and casseroles, you can cook a wonderful pate.

To cook you will need:

  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 green onion (red);
  • 100 g of processed cheese;
  • cilantro, salt, spices, garlic – to taste;
  • 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • olive oil.

How to cook

First, wash and boil the carrots, and when ready, peel them.

Then cut them as you like and chop them with a blender.

Cut the raw onion into half rings or cubes, fry them in a pan, and then mix with the carrots.

Next, add cheese, garlic, mayonnaise, salt, chopped herbs, and spices to the vegetables. Chop everything well and mix.

The pate goes well with croutons or toast and fresh herbs.

The preparation does not last long, so you should not cook it much.
