The classic recipe for making cutlets is known to all housewives. The secret of this simple dish was that they consisted mostly of meat and bread. Such cutlets were not fried, but baked. Therefore, they had a unique taste and were well digested. Our mothers and grandmothers still believe that there is no better recipe for making cutlets. However, this is not so. There is one simple recipe that surpasses the classic one.
Ingredients for making aromatic cutlets:
- minced meat – 450 grams;
- egg – 1 piece;
- potatoes – 2 pieces;
- onion – 1 piece;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- green onions and spices – to taste;
- breadcrumbs.
How to make the best cutlets
Find a wide bowl into which you will put the potatoes grated on a large grater. Put the garlic grated on a fine grater and 1 chicken egg there.
Add finely chopped or grated onion and defrosted minced meat to the total mass. Salt and pepper everything and mix to obtain a homogeneous structure.
Form the resulting mass into cutlets and roll them in breadcrumbs. Fry the cutlets in oil in a well-heated frying pan until golden brown.
