How to make delicious homemade hummus

Did you know that hummus is not only a popular snack in the Middle East, but also a source of vegetable protein? It is very easy to prepare it at home, and its taste is not inferior to restaurant food.
Ingredients:
- chickpeas (boiled) – 200 g
- tahini (sesame paste) – 2 tbsp. l.
- lemon juice – 2 tbsp. l.
- olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.
- garlic – 1 clove;
- salt, cumin to taste
- water – 2-3 tbsp. l.
Chickpeas are pre-boiled so that they become soft. Chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and spices are mixed in a blender. For a creamier texture, add a few spoonfuls of water.
Hummus is whipped until smooth and served with vegetables or pita bread. By the way, tahini is a sesame paste that adds a distinctive nutty flavor to hummus. It can be prepared for everyday sandwiches or for a festive table.
