How to make “fluffy” pies according to “grandmother's” recipe

It is easy to get airy dough for pies. In this case, you do not need to use yeast. Experienced housewives know that the perfect and fragrant treat is obtained on kefir. And here the main thing is to correctly calculate the proportions of all components so that the dough rises.

Ingredients

All products must be at room temperature.

  • flour, 800 g;
  • kefir, 500 ml;
  • egg, 1 pc.;
  • butter, 40 g;
  • oil, 50 ml;
  • sugar, 2 tbsp. l.;
  • salt, 1 tbsp. l.;
  • soda, 1 tbsp. l.

How to cook

In a container, you need to mix kefir, egg, salt, sugar and soda.

Thanks to the combination of soda and acid in kefir, the dough will be filled with bubbles.

The mixture should be allowed to infuse for about five minutes. After that, you can add other ingredients.

First, pour in the oil and mix everything thoroughly.

Then you need to rub the flour with soft butter. The resulting fine crumbs must be mixed with the liquid mass.

You should get a dense and elastic dough.

It should be left in a warm place for half an hour to rise. At this time, you can start preparing the filling.

The dish is baked for half an hour at a temperature of 200 degrees. The oven must be preheated.
