Do you know that feeling when the first sips of a hot drink warm not only your hands, but also your soul? Hot cider is exactly what you need to cope with cool autumn evenings.
Ingredients:
- apple juice (natural) – 1 l
- orange – 1 pc.
- honey – 2-3 tbsp. l.
- cinnamon – 2 sticks
- cloves – 5 pcs.
- anise – 1 star (optional).
Pour the apple juice into a saucepan, add the cinnamon sticks, cloves and anise. Cut the orange into thin slices and add to the juice. Heat over low heat, without bringing to a boil, for 15-20 minutes. Add honey, mix well and let it brew for 5 minutes before serving.
Apple juice, rich in vitamins A and C, combined with spices creates a unique aroma that is immediately associated with comfort. And if you add a little anise, the cider will get a subtle spicy shade.
