How to make lazy dumplings with cheese and cherries

Can there be a dessert simpler and tastier than lazy vareniki with cheese? Add juicy cherries to them – and your dish will become a real gastronomic holiday! This recipe is suitable for a family lunch or a sweet dinner.
Ingredients:
- sour milk cheese – 500 g;
- egg – 1 pc.;
- sugar – 2 tbsp. l.;
- flour – 200 g;
- cherries (fresh or frozen) – 150 g;
- sour cream or berry sauce for serving.
Mash the cheese with a fork, add the egg, sugar and gradually add the flour. Knead the soft dough. Divide it into parts, roll into sausages and cut into small pieces.
Put a saucepan of salted water on the fire. When the water boils, carefully lower the dumplings and cook until they float to the surface (usually 2-3 minutes).
To serve, melt the cherries with a little sugar over low heat to make a light sauce. Pour over the dumplings or add the cherries separately with a spoonful of sour cream. What's next? Enjoy!
