Marshmallows rightfully occupy a place in the list of the most popular desserts. This confectionery product has a pleasant taste. It does not leave indifferent either adults or young gourmets. Most marshmallow lovers buy this delight in the store and do not even think about the fact that you can prepare the dish yourself. There will be no dyes or other unnecessary additives in such a dish. And in terms of its taste, homemade marshmallows are not inferior to store-bought ones. And perhaps it surpasses it.
Homemade marshmallow recipe
You need to take a deep container, put about 15 grams of gelatin in it and pour in clean cold liquid.
In another container, you should send three egg whites. Add a spoonful of lemon juice to the transparent mass, and then beat it a little with a mixer.
Next, add three ingredients to the saucepan (100 g of water, 250 g of granulated sugar and one tablespoon of honey). This mixture should be heated until bubbles form and left on the fire. You can remove the saucepan from the stove when the mass becomes light caramel.
Pre-prepared gelatin is added to the resulting hot liquid. The viscous mixture should be gradually poured into the proteins, while simultaneously turning the latter into a mass with stable peaks. This usually takes 10 minutes.
The result is a base for marshmallows. This mass just needs to be cooled in the refrigerator. In 50 minutes, the most delicious dessert will be ready.
