How to make peanut paste quickly and easily yourself

Very simple, fast, tasty, easy for breakfast for the family! Homemade peanut paste is easy to prepare! You only need three ingredients. In addition, it is much tastier than store-bought – try it and see for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • Peanuts – 500 g
  • Sugar – 2 table. l.
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp. l.

Preparation:

How to make peanut paste at home? Very easy. For this you will need only three ingredients from the list. You can take peanuts already peeled, roasted, salted or unsalted. If you take salted peanuts, then salt should be excluded from the ingredients. You can use powdered sugar instead of sugar. You can add more sugar to your taste.

I have fresh unpeeled peanuts, so first of all they need to be roasted and peeled. You can fry in a dry pan with constant stirring over low heat or in the oven. If you choose the second method, spread the nuts on a baking sheet in one layer and put them in an oven heated to 150 ° C for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

The shell on the nuts should darken, and the nuts themselves should acquire a golden hue.

Remove the nuts from the oven and let them cool. Then you can easily separate the kernels from the husk.

Place peeled peanuts in the bowl of a blender or food processor, add sugar and salt and start whipping. As you beat, this dry crumb will begin to moisten, because the oil is released from the peanuts and is beaten into lumps. Stop whisking periodically and scrape the mixture off the sides of the bowl with a spatula so it settles back to the bottom.

Continue whisking until the peanuts are a paste. The mass will heat up, more oil will be released, thanks to which the mixture will become liquid and more homogeneous. If the blender gets very hot during the grinding process, turn it off and let it cool down a bit. Next, continue to grind the nuts to the desired consistency.

When you get a homogeneous lump of paste, pour in the other part of the nuts and continue to beat until smooth.

The peanut paste heats up a lot and turns out almost completely homogeneous with minor inclusions of fine-fine nut crumbs.

Transfer the peanut paste into clean, dry jars with lids and store in the refrigerator for no more than 4 weeks.

Delicious!
