How to make pies that triple in size in the pan

A very simple recipe for legendary pies that increase in size during frying. The dough turns out soft, elastic, and does not tighten during cooking.

Ingredients:

  • warm water – 250 ml;
  • flour – 400-500 g;
  • egg – 1 pc.;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • yeast – 20 g;
  • oil – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • salt – 1 tsp. l.

Step-by-step preparation

  1. Add yeast, sugar, oil, salt, egg to warm water.
  2. Next, sift the flour. Add the ingredient gradually so that the dough turns out tender. You can grease your hands with oil so that the dough does not stick.
  3. After kneading, put the dough in a warm place for 60 minutes so that it rises.
  4. Next, it's time for the little ones. Form the pies. Choose any potato, minced meat, cabbage, onion, egg, jam for the filling. Fry in oil over medium heat until the patties are golden brown.

During the frying process, the patties increase in size by 2-3 times. The finished dish turns out soft and airy, like in a dining room.
