How to marinate river fish deliciously

Want to learn how to marinate river fish, such as silver bream, so that it is juicy and aromatic? Marinade is a key point that helps to emphasize the taste of the fish and remove its characteristic river smell.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of river fish
  • 100 ml of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • Spicy herbs (dill, rosemary or thyme)

First, clean and cut the fish into portioned pieces. Next, prepare the marinade: mix apple cider vinegar, oil, crushed garlic, honey and lemon juice. Add salt, pepper and your favorite spicy herbs. Pour this marinade over the fish and leave it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Tips:

  1. Add honey to balance the flavor so that the marinade is not too sour.
  2. Use fresh herbs to help neutralize the specific smell of the fish.
  3. Do not marinate the fish for too long, as it may lose its texture.
