The first way to fight insomnia is the right regime. It is necessary to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day in order to adjust the biological clock.
An adult needs to sleep 7-8 hours a day. 2-3 hours before going to sleep, you should take baths with essential oils or at least a warm shower. A short half-hour walk in the fresh air will not hurt either.
Before going to bed, it is better to refrain from heavy food, the doctor advises. You can replace it with a light snack in the form of yogurt or a banana. At the same time, physical activity is mandatory – sports, dancing or fitness until 19:00 in the evening.
At the same time, Nurzhakhan warns that under no circumstances should you force yourself to sleep. This can increase anxiety and nervous tension. If you can't fall asleep within half an hour, you can try to read a book or listen to calm music and go back to bed when you feel a little sleepy.
