How to peel garlic in seconds

The hot season of preparations for the winter is ahead. When canning cucumbers, tomatoes, making adjika and in pepper rolls, you will definitely need garlic.

It's good if all the cloves in the head are large, it won't take much time to peel them. But if you need to peel a whole mountain of small garlic cloves, the task is not a pleasant one.

Fortunately, experienced housewives know one simple way that will help you avoid the sticking of dry husks and other troubles that inevitably accompany peeling garlic.

Cut off the garlic stalks and fill them with cold water. Leave the vegetable in such a “bath” for at least half an hour, a little longer.

After this procedure, the peel comes off easily and does not stick to your fingers.

It should be stored in the refrigerator in a small glass container with a lid. A clean baby food jar or a plastic container with a tight lid is perfect for storing a supply that will last a week.
