How to prepare a holiday snack with liver pate

Liver pate is a versatile ingredient that can easily be turned into an exquisite appetizer. Ingredients:
- liver (chicken or beef) – 300 g;
- onion – 1 pc.;
- butter – 50 g;
- cream (or milk) – 100 ml;
- salt, pepper to taste;
- tartlets or toast for serving.
Wash the liver and cut into pieces. Fry it together with finely chopped onion in butter until cooked.
Then add cream, salt, pepper and simmer for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and blend in a blender until creamy.
Spread the resulting pate into tartlets or onto toasted baguette slices. Garnish with cranberries, chopped nuts, or a sprig of fresh herbs. This appetizer looks elegant and will definitely become a favorite on the holiday table.
