Before use, part of the saturated concentrate must be diluted in three parts of water. Important: do not try the drink if you suffer from allergies.
What you will need for 3 liters of water:
- 1.5 kg of black rowan;< /li>
- 360 cherry leaves;
- 3-5 tablespoons of citric acid;
- 4 kg of sugar.
To begin with, you need separate the berries from the twigs, wash and dry them, spreading them on paper towels. The same should be done with cherry leaves.
In a wide pan suitable for making syrup, you need to fill the berries, put cherry leaves on top and pour water in such a way that the liquid completely covers the contents of the pan.
Cook the future syrup for 30 minutes, then strain it, add sugar, citric acid and put it back on the fire for another half hour.
The finished syrup should be poured into pre-sterilized jars and rolled up. A cool place is suitable for storage.
