Most often, you have to use purchased chemical preparations, but they have a number of disadvantages. Not everyone remembers that you can deal with the problem with the help of ordinary onion skins.

How to make the remedy yourself

It is necessary to pour onion skins into the cooking pot. It is not necessary to tamp it. Pour water and turn on the fire. After boiling, the decoction should be prepared for another five minutes.

Then the solution should be passed through cheesecloth so that the husk itself does not get into the spraying liquid.

The resulting concentrate is diluted with water in a ratio of 1 to 5.

How to use the product

Onion peel is used both for prevention and in the case of insect control. Any plants can be treated with the decoction: they are equally suitable for tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and even flowers.

Prophylactic treatment is carried out once every two weeks.

If there are many pests on the site or if the plant is affected by any disease, then you can use a decoction of onion husks up to twice a week.
