How to protect your garden from pests using ordinary onion husks

Any summer resident is afraid of pests, because they can spoil the harvest. Therefore, it is worth thinking over a set of preventive measures in advance to keep insects away from the site.

Most often, you have to use purchased chemicals, but they have a number of disadvantages. Not everyone remembers that you can cope with the problem with the help of ordinary onion peels.

How to make the remedy yourself

You need to pour onion peels into a cooking pot. You don't need to tamp them down. Pour in water and turn on the heat. After boiling, the broth should be cooked for another five minutes.

Then the solution should be passed through cheesecloth so that the peel itself does not get into the spray liquid.

The resulting concentrate is diluted with water in a ratio of 1 to 5.

How to use the remedy

Onion peels are used both for prevention and in the fight against insects. You can treat any plants with the decoction: it is equally suitable for tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, and even flowers.

Prophylactic treatment is carried out once every two weeks.

If there are many pests on the site or the plant is affected by any disease, then you can use the onion peel decoction up to two times a week.
