All you need to do is add soda while cooking the peas. It must be added very little – literally half a teaspoon per glass of peas.
Soda must be added immediately after putting the peas in water.
When the water boils – foam will begin to actively form, it must be removed . And by the way, it's better not to leave the stove in the meantime, because everything will escape.
How it works:
Soda softens the peas, thanks to which they boil quickly. In about 30 minutes, the peas will be completely ready.
By the way, soda does not affect the taste of the peas at all, it is not felt at all if the peas were cooked without it.
