How to quickly make a cake using tea

The name tea cake speaks for itself. Preparing such a treat, which requires products that are always at hand, is easy. And the result will always please you with its bright appearance, pleasant taste and indescribable aroma.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 300 g of flour;
- 200 ml of strong tea;
- 150 g of jam;
- 180 g of sugar;
- 1 egg;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 tsp. l. soda.
Preparation
The first thing you need to do is brew strong tea. To do this, pour boiling water into a 200 ml glass and put a bag of black tea. It is better to take a product without flavorings.
Whisk the sugar with the egg until fluffy and, stirring constantly, pour hot tea into the egg-sugar mass. After that, add the oil and jam. Don't forget to stir the dough every time you add a new ingredient.
It's time to add the flour. Its amount can vary – you should focus on the consistency of the dough: it should be semi-thick and fluid, like when making charlotte.
The last component is soda. The dough should be mixed well again, and the oven should be preheated to 180 degrees.
The tea cake should be baked for about 30-40 minutes. If desired, it can be decorated with powdered sugar.
