How to quickly make thin pizza dough

Want to prepare a thin pizza that bakes quickly and does not require long mixing? You can make dough for thin pizza in a matter of minutes, and the result will surprise you! Thin dough allows you to better taste the filling, without being distracted by excessive splendor.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 ml warm water
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Start by mixing warm water with yeast and sugar. This will help the yeast activate faster. Let the mixture stand for 5-10 minutes until a light foam appears on the surface. The olive oil in the dough adds special elasticity and a light aroma. Add it to the yeast mixture, then add the flour and salt. Knead the dough until it is smooth and soft.

For thin pizzas, it is important not to add too much flour, as this can make the dough heavier. Let the dough rest for a while – 10-15 minutes will be enough for it to become pliable and easy to roll. Roll out the dough into a thin layer, no thicker than 3-4 mm.

Spread the filling, but do not overcrowd it so that the pizza remains crispy. Bake at 220–240°C for about 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. If you want to add authenticity, try baking on a pizza stone or simply on an inverted baking sheet – this will give the dough a special texture.
