Ingredients:
- 500 g of herring fillet
- 100 g of water
- 2 bulbs
- 50 g of apple cider vinegar
- 50 g of olive oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 5 pcs. black pepper peas
- 2 pcs. allspice
Preparation:
Wash the fish, remove the entrails and rinse well again under running water. Cut along the spine and remove the skin.
Cut the fish in half to remove the bone. Cut the fillet into pieces, and the onion into half rings. Mix water with salt and spices and bring to a boil. Cool the marinade, add apple cider vinegar and oil to it.
Lay the herring in layers in a dish, interspersed with onions. Close the lid and put it in the refrigerator for 1 day. After that you can taste. Delicious!
