How to “save” flower pots from cats

Cats get a lot of information about the world around them through their sense of smell. These animals do not like strong smells. There are special aerosols for scaring cats. Dry citrus peels or cloves of garlic can be a natural alternative. The method does not work with all cats, experts warn, besides, the scents have to be updated regularly.

Sometimes an ordinary atomizer is used to protect flowers from pets. Most cats do not like water. If the owner sprinkles water on a cat that got too close to the flowers, it can quickly learn the connection between unwanted behavior and an impromptu shower. This method will not work if the cat is indifferent to water or loves it.
