How to save yesterday's puree and prepare new dishes

If you have leftover mashed potatoes from dinner , then, believe me, this is a typical situation. And they have already come up with a lot of recipes and ways to prepare fresh and new dishes for breakfast or lunch.
1. Potato zrazy. These are delicious cutlets with filling. Mix puree with egg and flour, form small cakes and fill them with mushrooms, meat or cheese. Fry in a pan until golden brown. For a better taste, add some grated cheese to the puree – it will make the dish more aromatic.
2. Potato fritters. An ideal option for breakfast or a quick dinner. Just add some flour, egg and spices to the puree, then fry them in a hot pan. The fritters are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. By the way, it can be served with both salty and sweet sauces – sour cream, yogurt or even jam.
3. Potato croquettes. To do this, mix puree with cheese and form small balls. Roll them in breadcrumbs and deep-fry until golden. Use hard cheese that melts well – it will add a delicate texture to the dish and make it even more appetizing.
4. Filling for pies. Classic version. Mashed potatoes are great for baking. Just add some fried onions or mushrooms to it and use it as a filling for pies or dumplings.
