From time to time, Ukrainians use Russian expressions in their speech, in particular, “utro vechara mudrenee.” However, you should not do this, because if you want to postpone an important decision until the morning, there is a Ukrainian version of this phrase.
How to say in Ukrainian “утро вечера мудренее”
This phrase it is not necessary to translate literally into Ukrainian and say “morning is wiser than evening”, because there is a beautiful version in the Ukrainian language.
So, according to the famous linguist and teacher Oleksandr Avramenko, in Ukrainian “morning is wiser than evening” sounds as follows: “mother-night will give advice” or “night-mother will give advice”.
