How to spot impending brain thrombosis? The doctor names the symptoms

What has become a sharply defined nasolabial fold on one side of the face is one of the symptoms of an impending vascular catastrophe – cerebral thrombosis.
Thrombosis of cerebral vessels is a potentially life-threatening complication that often turns out to be a sudden event for the affected person and his relatives. Meanwhile, there are a number of symptoms that allow you to notice the impending thrombosis of the brain even before the arrival of the fatal “X hour”. These signs were named by a cardiologist in an interview.
“First of all, it is a very severe headache,” said the cardiologist.
The doctor also named two other key symptoms of impending cerebral thrombosis:
- a violation of facial symmetry – for example, an increase in the nasolabial fold on one side;
- loss of vision or its deterioration.
In addition, the doctor pointed out the loss of sensitivity of the limbs – this sign can also be caused by processes that herald the occurrence of thrombosis – blockage of a vessel or artery by a blood clot.
In some cases, the disorder is manifested by a sharp but rapid deterioration of well-being. As the doctor put it, “the man was dizzy once, and he soon regained consciousness.”
