It is recommended to thin the beds in several approaches. The first time this should be done a month after planting. At the same time, remove the smallest, weak and diseased plants.
The second thinning should be done in July. This time, the distance between the fruits should be doubled.
Agriculturalists advise fertilizing the beds after thinning. Organic fertilizers are best for this, which should be spread on the garden in a layer of 1 centimeter.
The optimal option is humus, which will not allow the soil to dry out. In addition, in this case, there is no need to carry out additional work on loosening the soil.
