Just 4 simple top dressings can increase potato yield by at least three times. For this, experienced gardeners recommend using a complex fertilizer. They say that the result is incomparable. Let's tell you what to make an activator from.
4 options
- Many gardeners who have tried these additives assure that you can activate potato growth even after the first top dressing. In this case, potassium monophosphate is added (in the amount of 60 g per 10 liters of warm water) with urea additives (40 g). The solution must be thoroughly mixed and the potatoes treated with a sprayer.
- An alternative to the first “recipe” can be a supplement made from 3 g of potassium chloride and 30 g of superphosphate. The components must be dissolved in 10 liters of warm water and mixed thoroughly. The product is also used for foliar feeding.
- The next supplement is prepared from 35-40 g of potassium sulfate, which is diluted in 10 liters of warm water and mixed. Potatoes are fertilized using a sprayer.
- The last option, in addition to stimulating growth, is also the prevention of late blight of potatoes. To do this, mix 3 g of urea, 1 g of copper sulfate and 10 g of superphosphate in 10 liters of water. The finished solution is used for irrigation.
