Bread as a fertilizer component is appreciated by many experienced gardeners, as it gives an excellent effect. In particular, it can be used to improve the health of tomatoes, thanks to which at the end of the season you will be able to harvest an excellent harvest. This top dressing is completely harmless. It is used mainly in the first half of summer.

How to prepare fertilizers

First you need to prepare about two kilograms of bread scraps. Crusts and even stale bread will come in handy. Then we send the product to a bucket of water.

The fertilizer should be infused for 48 to 72 hours.

Then, for each liter of concentrate, we take a bucket of water. This amount is enough for ten tomato bushes, because one liter is spent on one plant.

As a result, tomatoes increase their green mass faster, as they saturate the crop with nitrogen. In addition, this top dressing is an excellent source of phosphorus, which is presented in an easy-to-digest form.

Phosphorus, as is known, helps tomatoes grow a powerful root system.
