How to use mineral water when making kefir okroshka

One of the many okroshka recipes shows that this refreshing dish is prepared with regular kefir and mineral water. The recipe is not radically different from making okroshka with pike fish broth, kvass or sour cream with water – you can crumble it in any pot you have on hand.
To prepare, you will need:
- 1 liter of kefir;
- 1 liter of mineral water;
- 5 eggs;
- 3 fresh cucumbers;
- 500 UAH. of boiled sausage;
- 1 tsp. mustard;
- fresh herbs, salt, pepper to taste.
How to cook
First, you need to hard-boil the eggs and cool them completely.
Then take a large bowl or saucepan (at least 3 liters), where we will put all the prepared ingredients.
The sausage, eggs and cucumbers should be cut into medium cubes, and the greens (this can be green onions, dill, parsley, etc.) should be finely chopped.
Pour a glass of mineral water and dissolve the mustard powder in it. Then the vegetables are poured with the remaining mineral water and mustard is added to them – it will make the okroshka more piquant.
Lastly, add kefir and mix. Add salt to taste and serve.
