However, it is not enough to simply immerse the items in water – for effective bleaching, you need to add a product to the basin that will help the socks become white again.

To do this, you will need to go to the pharmacy, where you should purchase boric acid. The preparation can be in liquid or powder form, which, in principle, does not matter.

Add a tablespoon of the substance to a liter of water and mix until completely dissolved. After that, immerse the dirty socks in the water.

Soak the laundry in the boric acid solution for two hours. All manipulations should be carried out with gloves.

After that, you can send the socks to the drum of the washing machine for washing in the usual mode.

Remember: you should only soak and wash dirty white socks in warm water. Hot water achieves the exact opposite effect – it will be many times more difficult to wash white things.
