In October and November, you need to carry out a number of tree care procedures. And one of them is whitewashing. For this, you can buy ready-made paint or prepare a special solution with fungicidal properties.

Preparation recipe

You need the cheapest wallpaper glue. It will be the basis for the solution and will help it stick to the trunk. Dissolve according to the instructions.

Slaked lime must be added to the mixture. If it is not available, you can replace it with chalk. The consistency of sour cream is an indicator of readiness. The proportion is 1.5 kg of lime per 5 liters of solution.

In the prepared mixture, you need to add copper sulfate in an amount of 150 g. Dissolve the powder in a small amount of hot water. Pour into the main solution. It is the copper sulfate that will provide fungicidal properties.

The advantages of such a solution are its ability to protect trees for a long time. The coating after whitewashing will last until summer.
