How Ukrainians can prepare for blackouts and winter: advice from the Deputy Minister of Energy
0
Ukrainian energy experts do not rule out that in case of powerful strikes on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure by the Russian occupiers, the population may wait many hours without electricity and heat.
Therefore, it is necessary to carefully prepare for such a scenario right now.
Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk stated this in an interview with the Edine Novosti telethon.
What the official advises
According to him, first of all, you need to insulate your home and use all methods of energy efficiency. But the main thing is to use the tools provided by the state, namely, financial loans, which make it possible to purchase simple technical solutions. These include solar panels and various generators, as well as means of energy storage such as power stations with powerful batteries (Power Stations).
It is worth choosing systems that allow you to ensure the consumption of electricity for an average family – from three to five kilowatts. Currently, there are many such proposals on the market, and the state provides financial instruments to quickly install and implement all this. Powerful energy-generating elements will help not only to provide yourself with light, but also to participate in the growing energy market.
