How to clean the refrigerator with improvised means
To eliminate unpleasant odors, you can also use products that can be found in the kitchen. They also effectively deal with dirt and stench.
Citric acid
Citric acid will not only help get rid of limescale in kettles, but also eliminate unpleasant odors in the refrigerator. In order to clean the appliance, you need to dissolve 2 teaspoons of citric acid in warm water. Dip a sponge in the solution and wash the entire refrigerator.
Vinegar
The best home remedy for cleaning your refrigerator is regular table vinegar. You need to dilute a small amount of vinegar in room temperature water and wipe the walls and shelves of the refrigerator. Table vinegar absorbs unpleasant odors and also disinfects the refrigerator.
Vinegar with soda
Make a solution of 1 tablespoon of soda and 1 liter of hot water. Rinse the refrigerator with the solution, and then wipe it again with the vinegar solution we talked about above. The vinegar will react with the soda and will be able to remove unpleasant mold from the refrigerator. After baking soda and vinegar, rinse the appliance with warm running water.
Mixture of detergents and soda
To finally put an end to the contamination of the refrigerator, use a solution of:
- Laundry soap;
- Detergent;
- Soda;
- And hot water.
All ingredients must be mixed and thoroughly washed from the inside of the refrigerator. This solution will help to destroy both plaque and odorous contamination. After you have washed the refrigerator with the solution, it should be rinsed with warm water.
