If you fertilize grapes in November, the clusters will be larger and the berries will be sweeter.

There is a lot of work to do in the summer cottage and in the garden in the fall. And there is plenty of work in November too, because you need to fertilize the grapes. Don't miss this moment if you want to have big and tasty grapes next year.

Autumn fertilization of grapes

In early November, you can use potassium and phosphorus. It is convenient to use in granular form. Scatter near the grapes and loosen the soil a little to mix with fertilizer. You can even dig a little deeper. After that, water thoroughly with water.

The second option for use is not to dig with fertilizers, but to prepare solutions. For them you will need: 25 g of superphosphate, 10 g of potassium salt, 25 g of potassium sulfate, 1 g of boric acid. The indicated fertilizers must be dissolved in 10 liters of water.

This option for fertilizing grapes is suitable if the soil has become quite depleted during the season. If it is within normal limits, you can simply add ash. Add 300 g of ash to 10 liters of water and pour it under the bush. In this way, the plant will receive everything it needs and will be sufficiently nourished.
