In autumn, needles fall from conifers: what to do
1
In summer cottages conifers are often planted in areas for beauty. They perfectly complement the landscape and are part of compositions or design of paths along borders. Panic sets in when coniferous plants begin to turn yellow and the needles fall off.
What to do with yellowed coniferous plants
There is no need to panic and worry. Also, don't think that all is lost. For coniferous decorative plants, this is a normal autumn state. During this period, they drop needles, which are the same leaves for them. However, this may not happen every season, but once every few years.
Pines shed needles once every 2-3 years. If you have thuja and a lot of them, be prepared for a change of appearance every 3-5 years. Spruce lasts the longest, because it stands without shedding needles for 5-7 years. But larch does it every season.
