You hear about mycorrhiza and trichoderma quite often. However, not everyone knows when and why they should be applied. In short, you need to know the following. Trichoderma strengthens plant protection against pathogens and activates plant growth. It acts as a destroyer of plant residues. Mycorrhiza enhances the growth of the root system. When to apply to the soil, read further in the post.

Seasonality of application

For Trichoderma and mycorrhiza, it is important what types of flowers and plants they will work with. This determines the seasonality of application.

If Trichoderma and mycorrhiza are intended for annual plants, then they are applied to the soil during digging in the spring.

For work with perennial flowers, trees, conifers, berry crops and other plants, application to the soil is allowed both in autumn and spring.

Mycorrhiza and Trichoderma can also be used for indoor plants. Seasonality does not matter so much with them. They can be applied throughout the year, but also when transplanting plants. Application to the near-trunk circle is also allowed.
