Fatty liver disease is a general term for conditions characterized by the accumulation fat in the liver. It can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is mostly asymptomatic, but there are some subtle signs that may indicate the disease.
According to the study, these symptoms are very non-specific, but they should be looked out for. They may appear if the condition progresses to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a type of NAFLD.
These symptoms include:
