Instant pickled bell peppers

Marinated peppers are a delicious variety of winter snacks. For cooking, you should choose fleshy and juicy specimens. The recipe for pickled peppers according to this recipe is quick and does not require a long list of products.

What you need for cooking

  • sweet pepper – 3 kg;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp.;
  • salt – 1 tbsp. with a slide;
  • vinegar (6%) — 1 tbsp.;
  • vegetable oil — 1 tbsp.;
  • peppercorns;
  • bay leaves — 3 pcs.;
  • water — 1 l.

Cooking process

Bulgarian pepper must be thoroughly washed and cleaned of the stem and the middle with seeds. Cut it into slices a few centimeters wide.

For the marinade, pour water into a saucepan and add all the ingredients. Bring to a boil. As soon as this moment comes, put a third of the pepper in the saucepan. It must be boiled for 3-5 minutes.

For twists, jars and lids must be sterilized. Transfer the peppers to jars and pour the marinade from the pan. Using this principle, you need to boil and seal the entire batch of peppers until done. Cover the finished pickled peppers with a warm towel and leave until completely cooled. Enjoy!
